I have a Virgin Money Credit Card, for which I use the Virgin Money credit card mobile app.

I intend to open the Virgin Money current account to benefit from the 2% interest rate, and also to use it while traveling abroad. Do you know if the VM credit card will be visible in the Virgin Money Mobile banking account app, or will I have to use 2 separate VM apps - one for the current account and one for the CC?

    Thank you.
I have two seperate logins, one for the current accounts and one for the credit card. I cannot see the "other" once logged in.
Log in to credit card only shows credit card account. Log in to current accounts only shows current accounts.

I wonder if I could see both because I already had a Clydesdale credit card and applied for a current account from while I was logged in?
  • They will have 2/3 separate IT platforms that are now branded Virgin Money-
Virgin Money (Northern Rock), Yorkshire Bank and Clydesdale Bank that they are migrating into a single platform.
Hence the differing apps and logins.

One day in the distant distant future - you will be able to see everything in one app - but for now - credit cards and current accounts/savings each have their own app. They are on a long drive to upgrade into one platform - but it won't happen overnight, or realistically any time soon.

sorry to pop in you thread op.
I have a question about this VM current account for holders. Do you need to keep your balance in your account of £1000 or to pay your account each month? thanks

It isn't a regular saver if that's what you mean. A fair number of us, I assume, have deposited £1000 at the start and left it there with no intention of disturbing it. Others are using it as a current with the usual ins and outs,

    I don't mean about a regular saver!

is not like others ( lloyd's, santander etc. ) to meet the criteria every month, to pay at least £1500 in your account ?

If it was, it would say so in the T&Cs that you have to agree to when you open the account.
