Boost is exclusive to Experian and works by connecting your existing Experian account to your bank account(s) via Open Banking. This enables us to scan for any credit boosting behaviour. And don't worry, once you have securely signed into your bank's app or online banking site, your information is protected and we don't store your login details.

With Experian Boost you'll get the chance to instantly increase your Experian Credit Score for free.
Marketing or helpful, any mser's giving this a try.

Wow, a tool to watch a made up number that means absolutely nothing change, what a load of guff.

No, I don't like the look of it! Or the sound of it either. So I won't be bothering with that.

Why on earth would any "mser" want to give this a try?  We all know, and it's repeated on this forum about a million times every week, the score means absolutely nothing.  Well, I guess it's useful to the Experian Marketing department, but that's about it.

That's for every 'mse'r' to choose and decide if it is relevant or useful to them.

How on earth is it "useful" in any way, shape or form?

Discussed this before but at that time it was only available in the U.S, where the score actually means something

I can't see any benefit of this.  Why would anyone want to give any CRA (who work in fairly mysterious ways) permission to data-mine all their bank account details?  AIUI, once connected to Open Banking, that data mine is continuous and on-going.  The CRA gets a whole load of information that they can sell and in return you get an increase in a number that only you can see.  Does this allow you to trip to the magic 1,000?
