Some excellent points, enjoyed Data Mine suggestions.
I genuinely stopped at Bank Details, as this Score boost was from an e-mail today.
I don't enter bank details from an e-mail.
The various Scores I use to Monitor any serious changes in CRA reports, be it Positive or Negative.
I won't go over what I have mentioned, once or twice, including a drop in score when I fell of Voters Role for some time, Checkmyfile Score accurately reported dropped points- I then fixed my Voter Role -allowed suggested few weeks, and witnessed Score Return.
Cannot say if Experian are offering a Tool to offer a Positive change, which e-mail part suggests.

Companies such as Nectar and ClubCard have been doing this for many years - at least they pay a small amount of money back in return, so a genuine commercial value.
A whole host of internet sites continuously data mining - am I the only one who thinks it is creepy when you go on a site for the first time and they immediately suggest someone you know as a contact? Nothing of value in return from many of these sites.
That CRA's are now asking for people to volunteer their full Open Banking access is really frightening! It will make a whole load of non-public domain information virtually public domain for any financial product or retail service. You'll probably find they then run some algorithm that marks you down for even sharing this stuff because you have shown yourself to be concerned.

I tried also, no boost for me today1

What is the point of boosting a score that only you get to see? Council tax payments and Netflix are all very well, but they still don't go on your report.I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.1

Maybe we should start a campaign against it. Make it unpopular before it gets off the ground.I know Martin Lewis has pretty much no connection with these boards other than his face being posted at the top - but would be good for someone like him to call out Experian on this - and really highlight that a made up score with giving them more data to get an even bigger made up score should be frowned upon.2

As the OP has said just a bit of fun.1

@cymruchris
I listened to a Podcast represented Experian, quite some time ago, it included what factors could impact CRA Reports and Scores, please don't include me in your Potential campaign.
