Customer Service: Symbio has other things to worry about.

If Symbio fails to comply with the FO by making the required payments the Authority may initiate the process of revocation of the licence or take other action to enforce payment.

Which supplier you're on please if you dont mind me askingTalldave said:I'm paying 10.9p/kWh. You're being robbed, do an electricity only search on a comparison site and switch asap. The customer service is commensurate with the price! However, that said there are endless "big 6/5" incompetence threads on here, so there's little to choose between them. The energy industry appears to have incompetence down to a fine art, so my view is that you might as well pay as little as possible whilst suffering from it.I dream of a world where smart meters really do their job and you can swap between suppliers within a 30 minute window, multiple times a day - thus the Tescos of this world could offer EV owners a "buy one get one free" deal overnight to charge their cars; going back to their usual supplier during the day. The technology is there, it's just the industry is full of dinosaurs, some of whom still appear to struggle to give customers an accurate bill once every 3 or 6 months. It's pathetic.3 -

You have to be careful about when you use your leccy and avoid using it between 4-7pm to benefit.Mattster1974 said:Agile octopus tarrif, have averaged around 7-8 p since march, really good if all electric house too.
I't can work for some people, especially if you are charging a leccy car and possibly for off-peak storage heating, especially if you were disciplined enough to avoid cooking at the peak time and could do washing, drying and dishwashing etc during the lower rate periods.
Personally I'd really struggle - my heatpump runs virtually all day heating the house and I wouldn't get a great deal of benefit from very cheap rates overnight as that's when it's virtually shut down. There's also not a lot of chance in my persuading SWMBO to cook, wash and do other stuff during the low rate periods - it's pretty hard just getting her to turn lights off when they aren't being used or not flushing gallons of hot water down the sink to rinse yoghurt cartons.
Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers1 -

The price is not the same in all areas. Check in citizens energy advice comparison with your postcode. Be aware not all the tariffs they show are available, but give you a better picture of the prices in your area.1
