No need to delete it in the first place - then you wouldn't get such a response. If it was important enough to have posted in the first place, your topic might help others in future - otherwise the boards would just be full of 'deleted' threads, and would be pointless coming here. 

Topics gets deleted every so often, its no big deal, normally if I see a deleted thread I just don't click on it because the clue is in the name. Not my fault you felt the need to comment on it.

But if everyone started doing that - there'd be no point having a forum. Deleting threads should be discouraged rather than the norm.
