Look at amazon Renewed laptops, better specs for less money, I've had a couple I had an issue with one, a faulty disk drive they sent me a new drive to fit immediately, excellent service
However most products in this category area are not sold by Amazon so you're taking as much of a chance as with any refurbished reseller out there. Here's a recent, more cautionary tale - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6220870/should-i-return-pc#latest

Also, the prices on Amazon are not really that cheap compared with some of the more trusted resellers on ebay for example.

I would suggest if things go tits up with amazon you are still better off than with  Currys.

Currys is where the average person not knowing which laptop to buy will end up shopping ....as they can see and hold the item and get sales advice  .
    This comes at a price.

Refurbed is a option like with itzoo or many other refurb outlets such as  on ebay that offer returns and customer service .
Amazon has its buyer protection with resellers.
Ultimately you choose your poison when it comes to your choice of refurb store and return policy .
From what Ive heard many are far better off with known refurb resellers than dealing with Currys  .

Those who want a laptop right now often just buy a new low end, low cost model because of the ease of local buying location at Currys  .

If you want a bang for your buck refurbed laptop as a tool for the job at hand......
Your going to have to put your time into finding a deal that suits you from a refurb seller that has a return policy .
Even CEX is a easy high street option

Buying online new has its pitfalls as well with long delivery times ,Items can be out of stock  and your money is tied up etc
