Nope it means Multi Function Card and applies to all of Santander’s debit cards.
I believe Santander have 3 types of debit cards

    "DEBIT MFC" Offline Authorisation

    Visa Debit 4547
    Debit Mastercard 535666

"DEBIT MFC ONLINE" Online Authorisation (Issued to customers who don't meet the internal BS threshold for a standard DEBIT MFC)

    Visa Debit 4757
    Debit Mastercard 535667

"DEBIT MFC ONLINE YOUTH" Issued on 123 mini accounts

    Visa Debit 4757
    Debit Mastercard 535667

The BIN range for Santander Debit Mastercards is 535666 and 535667, so I would make a good guess that 66 is the offline variant (DEBIT MFC) while 67 is online (DEBIT MFC ONLINE, DEBIT MFC ONLINE YOUTH).
Mine says DEBIT MFC YOUTH and is a student account.
Might be obvious, but what does BIN range mean?
Bank Identification Number (BIN) it’s used to identify which bank issued the card and to process transactions.
Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both.

When debit cards first came out, many banks had their own names for them, -they weren't just called debit cards like they are now.  Barclays (which was the first) had Connect.  NatWest had Servicecard.  Multifunction Card is the old Abbey National Name.
They used to issue a ATM card, standalone £50 Cheque Card, ATM/Electron Debit card and ATM/Visa debit/£100 Cheque card hence the multi-function name.

Ah yes the old cheque guarantee card. I remember I think was it Barclays Connect that had one with a hologram of Shakespeare in the £100 cheque guarantee logo
