I used to do a fair bit of driving in the past and I really enjoyed Chris Evans on radio 2.  It made the motorway journeys a bit more bearable Really not keen on Zoe Ball, i dont like her chatter, but I do enjoy Sarah Cox in the afternoon. If I'm honest I really like Ken Bruce, but I'm not too keen on his playlist.
  • Planet Rock - can’t beat Paul Anthony

Personally, I find many female radio presenters a bit like many female comics - annoying because they always try too hard, they just don’t come  across as being very “natural”
    Me too 👍

Recently I sat in a dentist's waiting area for over 1.5 hours to see the dentist as the previous appointment seriously over-ran. Listening to Capital Xtra, I was close to pulling out my own tooth just to get out of there.

  • Its R4 for me in the mornings.

One day I made an early start on decorating and tried Absolute Radio - lots of boy-banter and it was very funny!
No man is worth crawling on this earth.

So much to read, so little time.

R4.Although I'm a metal-head >:) , it's too dangerous getting into stuff like that on these rural Devon roads. That said, the only time I crashed a car I was on Classic FM. It was really weird how the violins seemed to catch the mood as I sat there in the battered vehicle, up on the hedge, facing the wrong way!
In the big van it's Radio Devon, as the only other thing it will pick up and play audibly is Radio 1, and being ancient, I'm not into millennial whooping.
  • Radio 4 on the daily commute usually. Though I've also got heavily interested in podcasts and audiobooks as of late.

Well that's something you can't do just now. Turn up on time, wait outside to go through fumigation and don't try to use the bog.
First question when you get in: "Do you feel well?"
Answer: "No, I've had bloody toothache for a fortnight!"
