who do you listen to?

I was for many years a radio two listener for my journey to and fro work. then it all changed and chris evens left and joined virgin radio. as a result radio two is now dominated by women mornings and evenings. but hair do's handbags and chat about whos on the cover of what magazine is not my cup of tea. so its virgin radio now for me. football, grand prix and near the knucle jokes about famous people, much more my style.

I know you wouldn't think they'd have the time to be on the radio, what with getting the breakfast ready for hubby then doing the school run before getting home to do the house work and making sure dinner was on the table for when the husband got home from work.

I used to listen to Heart when in the car but changed to Magic after Heart decided that the inane ramblings of Amanda Holden would increase their listener numbers!

I love a bit of misogyny of a
    Sunday lunchtime.

I listen to Chris Evans because I like the way he brings philosophy into most conversations.  I feel like I'm learning most mornings.  I hugely enjoyed his chat with Alain de Botton a few weeks back.

Can you cope with Kate Lawler on Virgin or is there something wrong with her too?  Like being female.
Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
  • I’m not going to miss pop master or Steve Wright for anything!
Do wish Sara Cox got the morning show though!
Maybe, just once, someone will call me 'Sir' without adding, 'You're making a scene.'

I dont mind Kate lawler. I like to listen to Chris Evans because he is full of life and cheers me up in the mornings. he talks about my stuff. cars, football. and also what his two boys have been up to, who are both into sport.
