Under the guidance announced extremely clinically vulnerable are advised not to go to work, but nothing has been put in place to cover lost wages again. I have spoken at work and been told they will not furlough me and I will be on unpaid leave and have to claim sickness benefits if I want to stop off work again this time.0 -
My friend has his own business, when furlough was first introduced his employees thought it was great, 80% pay and mortgage holiday. They thought they'd be rolling in it.
He told them in no uncertain terms that if that's what they wanted then there would be no business to come back to. He did rotate his staff on furlough so that it was fair but he was disappointed with most their attitudes.Make £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023
