You don't need any forum, what you need is to speak to a solicitor to get proper legal advice.

Most Legal advice on forums is 95% garbage 5% correct, you need to know the subject inside out to actually spot the correct advice !. If you knew the subject you would not come to forum asking for advice !. Good legal advice costs upwards of £150 an hour, if you could get it for free on internet forums they would all be unemployed !.

Why was your daughter part of a WhatsApp group which arranged lifts for people just for the cost of petrol? If that were the case, she wouldn’t be making any money and with hindsight, would have been better off just staying at home that evening. Why would you leave the house to help a stranger out with a lift and not receive any recompense for your time?
