Council Tax Reduction due to lockdown closures

Options
I'm just wondering as our libraries and some parks have been closed during lockdown this year,  should we be entitled to a reduction in our Council Tax as we have not been able to use these facilities that we pay towards through our Council Tax?

Do you not think Local Authorities have suffered financially enough? Most if not all staff will have still had to have been paid and would likely have been redeployed to other areas of the Local Authorities, such as food deliveries. A lot of libraries are also mainly staffed by volunteers.

Probably a poster who thinks council tax funds all Council services, he or she would be surprised at the actual % it provides.

Why not also ask for a discount because you're not out walking on the pavements as much and wearing them out?

    Hi everyone,
I'm new to this site so not familiar with it  however it is a money saving site.
I was after answers, not your judgemental opinions.
If you don't have the answer, that's ok.

I think you will find it is. Let us know how you get on with a rebate for a park being closed.

You might argue the point, but they've had lots of extra expenses - you possibly may be aware of current events - so if you can do basic arithmetic you could probably work out you owe them more. If you don't want judgemental opinions, or don't think people are giving the answer you want I suggest a little review of your posts for common sense before hitting send.

Would a different word have offended you less.
With all due respects does anyone on here have the actual answer, without getting emotive?
