Big sigh of relief that Marcus don't need OTP to make withdrawals, so I can keep the books balanced whilst waiting for my new phone to come.
I know exactly what you mean but I hope your verification processes other than OTP are robust.
Annoyingly, whilst in was in a restart loop, it kept connecting to 4G, and as I'm not on contract, it ended up using 25MB at 4p a MB (Asda) - so it's shenanigans also cost me £1 in credit
Soon to be 10p/MB (a/a 26/09). Roaming allowance reducing to 5GB too.

Im not sure what you mean?   Marcus, or in general?

Yes, I'm aware of ASDAs new prices.
How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)

Well, I have decided to scrap my G5 (nothing has worked, including full factory reset), and have ordered a 2nd hand G6 from CeX, which should be delivered today.

It was only £75, and comes with a 2 year warranty, so even if it does me a couple of years, that'll do.

I could have tried a new battery in the G5, but as they're £25 for a genuine Motorola, it didn't seem worth it, especially as the memory was becoming full and would have needed upgrading soon anyway.
