I would imagine it would be very awkard to fit and potentially lethal.

Sounds like an accident waiting to happen, I wouldn't.2

You would need the correct L shaped pieces to do the risers and lips.Wearing slippers or socks though would be dangerous so it would be outdoor shoes or bare feet and never getting them wet on a rainy day. There was a previous thread some time ago but the answers are still informative

If you have neighbours, they will hate you for it, particularly if your stairs go up a party wall.2

I was looking into doing this a few years ago. As the specification stats it can be used on stairs. We have laminate flooring completely down stairs and have never found it slippery. Can't believe that these large companies would say you can use it on stairs if its dangerous.0

They have been up and down thousands of times and never even a slip. Obviously care should be taken while on stairs and not rushed. Even on carpet.couriervanman said:

Sounds like an unsafe plan, i imagine rushing up and down stairs in socks ........ slip and slide all the way to broken/fractured bones etc, can't see this would be a safe idea at all.0

You should never rush up stairs. you should take your time going up 1 step at a time and hold the handrail.[Deleted User] said:Sounds like an unsafe plan, i imagine rushing up and down stairs in socks ........ slip and slide all the way to broken/fractured bones etc, can't see this would be a safe idea at all.0
