    👆 I agree. ☝️

    Fairly predictable CEL behaviour.

    Smart Parking at their worst?

The document Smart Parking sent to Paul, 62, showed that his car - rather than going into the car park and then leaving - was often going in numerous times without ever coming out.

In fact, during one period his car is seen going in 20 times without ever leaving. Then from October 20, 2020, he enters without leaving until April the following year.

On four further occasions he manages to be captured entering at least three times but never leaving.

    Smart Parking said:
"Smart Parking are proud members of the British Parking Association (BPA) and strictly follow it guidelines .... "
I wonder whether the BPA are equally proud of this fine, upstanding and honourable member of theirs?

Appalling - this story epitomises all that is wrong with ANPR cameras, and as the Knight Bill is bringing PPCs in line with council parking charges, they should also level them up with Government regulations imposed on councils regarding the use of ANPR cameras.  Unreliable for councils, unreliable for PPCs. There's no difference!

  • When I write my new defence to the small claims track, do I still address the defence to "The County Court at Leicester" or do I need to address it to Small Claims track at the top of the defence?

Not sure what stage you are at.  Post successful set aside hearing?

If so, then you are ONLY dealing with the local court and you need to file and serve a defence and witness statement and evidence against liability for the PCN.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It's all a bit confusing. I had the set aside hearing on the phone. Then the judgment has been set aside, but I had to file a defense to the County Court, which I did. Defence, witness statement, schedule of costs and evidence.
Then in November I got a letter with the date for another telephone hearing and it says "allocated to the small claims track" and asks me to send in all witness evidence and an own statement, which I have done before. The letter has been sent by the County Court again, so I'm not quite sure what exactly I am supposed to do now.
Shall I send the same document with evidence, witness statement, defence and schedule of cost I have sent in after the last telephone hearing again to the same court or what is the difference this time?

Please post a (redacted) scan/photo of the letter you have received, so we're working from facts and not guesswork. :)
