The comments have been helpful. OP lost track of everything which is no ones fault but their own. They just need to pay up and move on.

Going back to the other thread on this I'll supply the ancedote of my colleague who had this happen but only found out after his car was clamped. He applied and was successful in having the CCJ set aside. Perhaps ask on the parking forum for more detailed advice. It is certainly possible and happens all the time.

Not if they have a defence to the ticket.

Such as? Forgetting to update the DVLA
isn't a defence and is also illegal in itself.

Have you even read what I said today at 2:41PM?
In the time I lived at this previous address I have had 2 cars. The first one I sold and bought the second one about 2 months before I moved house. The second one I updated with DVLA after I moved house. After another 3-4 months I sold this car and bought the car I have now.
So where exactly have I "lost track of everything"? I have not even an idea which car they are talking about or when I would have parked incorrect and where, because they don't provide me with any other information than the name of the company.

You’ve said this before but it isn’t fatal to any claim. Courts do try to consider things on a real world basis, which includes people being tardy in updating the DVLA.
I’m not an expert on parking matters but there are certainly defences to private parking fines and as long as the defendant can be shown to have acted as soon as they became aware of the matter it is perfectly possible to get a set aside.

Maybe if you ask them where, when and what vehicle reg you can match things up?
    or not.

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP, sometimes it can lead to cancellation.,

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers. On 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, and hopefully this will become law shortly
