    If you're not prepared to put in the legwork to prevent a scam rinsing you, just for you to save a bit of your hard-earned, enter a dialogue with them to see if you can negotiate a lower amount. Don't ask, don't get.

    But you're going to have to show more resilience than you have so far to avoid total capitulation. 

    Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

    I agree, no politics here. However it really is up to the government to destroy the parking scammers. Trump ??? who knows, his golf course and hotels in the UK, The Donald could be in your town soon
