Has anyone over 75 received their TV Licence?

Hi, my Dad applied for his paid TV Licence on 16 October (I did it online for him) he opted to pay by monthly DD. His application was acknowledged by email and he was given an application number and it said he would be sent his TV Licence and payment plan by post at least 10 days before his first payment is taken. Its a month since he applied and has heard nothing from them. We have logged in using his existing details but there are not details on his account that its being dealt with or pending. He is 84 and does tend to worry a lot. I was wondering has anyone else experienced any delays? Thank you

Have you got the date correct? It's 16th October today.katies_mum said:Hi, my Dad applied for his paid TV Licence on 16 October (I did it online for him) he opted to pay by monthly DD. I applied by phone to pay by monthly DD in August. Nothing happened until a letter and DD form arrived. Letter stated there was a problem setting up DD. I phoned, they said the bank rejected it for reasons unknown. I completed and sent DD form. I could see payment plan on their website, which got amended as payments got missed. I received another DD form. I phoned. They told me 150,000 were sent out in error and to ignore. I got assured DD was set up but still it doesn't appear on my DD list. Now first, increased again payment is due 2 Nov. Still no DD. They said delay due to coronavirus!notbritishgas said:Not received my licence yet, applied more than a month ago.
