Don't the indicators automatically come on half way through the maneuver ?0

What's all this talk of R, ST, RS, VXR, GSI, etc? This is a sports car.
Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.1 -
I’ve always been a fan of those ‘delete options’ whereby the car model/engine size/sport designations are removed by the manufacturer rather than have something all ‘blinged up’ and in your face
Quiet confidence vs ‘look-at-me’ insecurity I suppose2 -
Definitely the "quiet confidence" cars are the best - I had the Mondeo 2.5 litre and it went like anything, but had nothing to make it look "special" externally, so it was a lot of fun0

Quiet confidence a.k.a the 'sleeper' cars. Definately a fan of those!
I drive a shed that is not fast nor sporty looking but still get plenty who drive right up my tailgate and no I don't drive at 30 everywhere either. I totally get it when you are on the motorway and you have drivers hogging the 'fast lane' doing 50 mph but generally the most reckless driving seems to be local roads and typically it's a car of German vintage with full beams near enough touching your tailgate..nothing wrong with German cars before anyone gets offended. Usually firm use of the brakes helps to get the message across...I say usually but not always. I think if you drive anything that is 'proper fast' such as. Golf R, AMG or any of the Audi rockets you do tend to attract those who like a traffic grand prix, its just one of things that comes with the territory..rightly or wrongly.

Sleeper aproach here also. When your plain blue Rover saloon (automatic) with steel wheels and plastic
wheel trims leaves the lights with barely a chirp from the tyres and leaves the XR3i in his rear view mirror.
Guy in the Escort Turbo was rather surprised to see what he could not shake off and could not keep up
on the straight bits.
Or wondering why the Ford Sierra in front of him on the motorway started pouring smoke from the exhaust
glance at the speedo (oops 135), he pulls over and I whizz past.
It was no supercar but good for 150mph and looked boring which was a good thing back in the 90's where
anything with a go-faster stripe got stolen twice a day.
18mpg on the commute though.
Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...1 -
I only have a fiat 500 abarth so hardly setting the world on fire but find that a lot of people don't want to let you merge or will drive up your bumper. Then you get people at traffic lights with two lanes who pull up next to you and are constantly edging forwards. I have absolutely no interest in racing! The corsa boy racer attitude is still well and truly alive sadly!
When I had my previous car (Toyota iq, great for a long commute!) I used to find people would try and bully me, like cutting right in front, pulling out right in front, acting like I wasn't even there...0 -
I've been out in my Lotus and had kids in Fiestas revving up behind me.The thing is, I don't need to prove I can go fast...0

I have added two white stripes from bonnet to boot, a GTi badge to the bootlid and a largeTurbo sticker to each door. I think it makes my 1962 Morris Minor 1000 look really sporty and it really does go much faster - 0 to 60mph, eventually.

Saw a Ferrari and we were about to join another motorway. There was nobody ahead of us so it wasn't like it was dangerous and he put his foot down a bit more than what you normally would but wasn't actually breaking the limit any. He was in a MK2 Mondeo Estate 1.8 petrol LX so nothing special. He was only doing it to see what the Ferrari guy would do.Mr Ferrari Man planted it and shot off at 10 times the speed of light. Some would take it as he wasn't letting a shed of a Mondeo estate pull away. I took it as he was showing what it could do. Either way there was no harm done and all good fun though i'm sure some killjoys here will say otherwise but hey ho.0
