Feedback on house listing......

Wanting some feedback on the listing, please.
Very little interest in 6 weeks and already reduced price.
Nice area and other houses move quick in the village.
I think the garden needs some extra colour and new photos (and the shot of the rear of house removing) but any constructive advice
Someone can hopefully post the link in thread below
TIA

Im confident the price range is in keeping with the property and the area so something must be wrong somewhere!!0 -
Compared to some of the ones posted on here I don't think it is an awful listing. My thoughts would be:
Some of the rooms seem a little full. Could you remove some of the furniture. I'd suggest the darker wooden furniture as it is quite imposing
Positioning of the bed in the main bedroom makes it look smaller than it is.
Back garden could do with a tidy. Maybe put the furniture more central to make a features and draw the eye.
Tidy up the front of the property. If the bins can;t be moved at least put them tidily.
Remove bin from kitchen and take away some of the items on the work surfaces.
As always though I'd say price is the biggest factor. If you think it's the right price then you may have to wait it out.1 -
Lovely house, but I think the back garden needs tidying. Also is that next doors conservatory with windows into your garden right next to your back wall? Unfortunately that would put me off even viewing, although I know theres not much you could do about it without possibly seriously annoying the neighbours.1

I had no problems with your house, but the outside photos really let you down. In not too fine a point the outside is a mess. That would lead to me thinking if they cant look after the outside, what's lurking inside.1

I think the inside looks lovely, but the 2 pictures of the outside would put me off - what is wrong with the roof? Why is so dark compared to the neighbours? The soffits look in poor condition too. I'd be worried about the roof tbh

It needs a new roof (next doors is new) - however the cost of doing the roof wouldnt add the value to the house - we would be better off using it as a negotiation for reducing the asking price by say £2k rather than spending £4k to do it ourselves.Jana83 said:I think the inside looks lovely, but the 2 pictures of the outside would put me off - what is wrong with the roof? I wondered why your agent didn’t have the front of the house as the first photo, then I saw them 😬, sorry you really need to get out there this weekend and have a good tidy up and trim back of the all the foliage. Main bedroom is huge with a fireplace, it has character, give it the kerb appeal the house deserves.0
