the only thing i am going to check up on is, has the car had its service when it was 12mths old, (it was on there forecourt at the time), eg mid sept, as this would be req for the ford warranty to still be valid, so i`m going to call ford on mon to get this confirmed

anyone give me some advice on this, the same car i`m getting this fri, is 13mths old and 10k on the clock, ive called ford today and asked them has the car been serviced and they came back and said no, and its not due for 24mths/18k miles, now the mileage i do i wont go near 18k miles in the next 11 mths for its first service, but what if i was (the garage dont know as of now), they have said its in there workshop getting a check over and anything that needs doing will be done, will it be getting at least a oil change or what ?

If you did not negotiate the service when placing the order, I very much doubt you will be able to negotiate it into the deal now.  Especially if the Ford service schedule says a first service is not yet required.
