I had that same expectation when i went to see Juno and came out feeling let down, guess i expected too much from the film hmmmmMember No. 20 of the "104 free previews in 2008" club! Seen round about 21 so far0 -
Thought last night it was only me who was not keen on it. Glad to see others felt the same. Should have gone to Bank Job instead, but fortunately other codes have appeared so managed to get another ticket for it. Really looking forward to seeing it.Member No. 18 of the "104 free previews in 2008" club!19 down 85 to go0

I would agree with the above ratings (not sure if i have rated all these in the past) and on there will be blood - far too long didn't get out of the cinema until 11.20 last night.
I would add bank job from tonight which I would say was 9 out of 10, really enjoyed this film.
OK what I've done is kept the ratings you already gave, and copied the ratings you didn't have, so this is what I've got for you:
BANK JOB 9,BUCKET LIST 8,DAN IN... 8,DEFINITELY 7, TWBB 6
feel free to change any ratings...
As for TWBB I'll still definitely go (by paying) - but I'll make sure I get plenty of sleep before...
when I saw Assassination of Jesse James I was really tired, which was a shame cos it was a great great film, which I must watch again, (and so must you all!)
anyway cheers for the ratings!Haikus are easy
But sometimes they don't make sense

And Wolverine... make sure you do other things like eat and visit the toilet before you go as well. I was v hungry afterward, and my son who was drinking water during the film was ready for a visit. My son's a grown up, by the way. I really enjoyed the atmosphere it created, I can see why some may not have enjoyed it. It wouldn't do for us all to like the same things.
I think we can be affected by the way we feel when we go to see a film, whats happening in our lives and what sort of day/week we're having. I've seen some films again and changed my opinion of them.
Here's another thing.... I think some films are better seen at the cinema and some are better seen from your sofa. And some are great from both, anyone up for giving films a cinema, sofa or both rating for future viewings?
Rom-coms are usually sofa films for me, blockbusters and epics are for the cinema. Titanic was a must see at the cinema film. Feel free to discuss...Just looking to save a few pennies here and there0 -
yeah you're definitely right about where you see films....when i miss a film and rent it when it comes on dvd I sometimes think 'this is awesome but I wish I had seen it at the cinema!'
Thank goodness for free films - its great to be able to see more at the cinema these days
That said it can be really awful to go to a normal cinema screening, when there are annoying people in the room - it can really disrupt your eveningHaikus are easy

Just back from my freebie in Edinburgh, its absolutely DIRE!! While I appreciate a couple of freebies, I can honestly say its the worse film I've seen in a long time. Jack Black is the only godsend, Mia Farrow looks like a deranged pensioner (no change there then)the other characters are totally unbelievable and the storyline is just terrible, just sentimental American drivel. Interesting to see what others think. Be Kind, Don't recommend it.0
