Just back from "There Will be Blood", WOW another 9. 2 1/2 hours. Captured the character, a time and place. It was really subtle how it made you sense something was going to happen. Sometimes the music in a film is a dead giveaway, not sure how they did it without music. Excellent viewing. Altered my sig already. Got another on Thursday which will take me down to two figures and an ice cream with a flake in. That's a 99 in case you don't know.Just looking to save a few pennies here and there0

Just got back from The Bank Job. We were both pretty disappointed with it, thought it was a bit like a low budget Oceans 11. Some good points but generally glad the tickets were free and I'd not actually had to pay. Shame, lots of potential for it to be great.:staradmin0

Just back from "There will be blood", and agree with MeanManc that this is a 9. Daniel Day Lewis and Paul Dano are both brilliant, but was a bit worried about Paul Dano as the article in the Times at the weekend said that he really was hit by DD-L during filming.
Wolverine - I owe you a whole load of scores. I keep thinking I will come back to this, but then I forget as I am too busy watching the next screening.
Diving Bell and the Butterfly - 9.5 (too sad a topic to be a perfect 10, but otherwise perfect.)
Definitely, Maybe - 8
Dan in Real Life - 8.5
The Bucket List - 7.5
Charlie Wilson's War - 7.5 (but the film broke before the end)
Juno - 9
PS I love you - 6.5
I think that is all I have seen this year. I guess I should be in the 104 in 2008 club, too. What member number are we up to?0 -

Shall I put you down for 7.5?

hope it's as good as i've anticipated. is anyone else going to the glasgow showing?

Ah well, it developed out of some questionable maths on my part on how many films you would have to see to save £2008 in 2008, and then I liked the look of number 104 because it is half of 2008 when you disregard one 0. Does only make sense to me, LOL.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

in that case can i be number 17 of the club?even though i seriously doubt i will see anywhere near as many as 104 films this year let alone 104 previews!
last year i watched a grand total of 16 previews.'Win £2008 in 2008 members club' number 152! Total Wins: £1000

Just back from this viewing. Have to say, pretty disappointed with film. Felt it dragged on at 2 1/2 hours. Daniel Day Lewis was on form. Would only rate this 6 out of 10. Strange though, because of all the hype about Daniel Day Lewis,it is a film that you feel you want to see.
Wolverine some ratings for you
The Bucket List 9 out of 10 great on screen chemistry between Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman
Definately Maybe 9 out of 10
Dan in Real Life 8 out of 10
Walk Hard 6 out of 10
Looking forward to Be Kind Rewind
Can anyone join the 104 club?Member No. 18 of the "104 free previews in 2008" club!19 down 85 to go0
