    ............................

I then came across another Bank Job code - as said previously - there are LOADS of these tickets flying around but heyho thought I'd share the love! Nearly immediately someobody is telling me to delete it IN THE NO CHAT SECTION! because they had posted it two pages earlier. I apologise, I did not read that far back but it is about codes and if more tickets have become available under the code then re-publish it - people are then reminded.

    .................... !

    Hi.

Unfortunately if everyone posted a code that they'd just been told about, been sent in an email or found on another website, WITHOUT checking the CODES ONLY NO CHAT thread to see if it had already been posted, then hundreds of new posts would be added to it each day.

You did say "YET ANOTHER BANK JOB CODE" when of course it actually wasn't - if you had checked you'd have known this. There is a search facility (actually there are 3) Depending where you are on MSE you can search ALL threads in ALL forums, or ALL threads in a single forum, or ALL posts in a single thread.
Whilst this sometimes produces spurious results (not finding a word/phrase that actually exists) it does seem to work very well with numerics - so if you had searched for 408697, it would almost certainly have found the previous posting of it.

Regards reminding people or posting that more tickets have become available, again if everyone did it everytime they themselves had had success, new posts would spring up several times a day, for one code/cinema or another.

As it says in post #2 (hope you've read #1 & #2 - the whys and wherefores of using the CODES NO CHAT thread) you would have seen ...

"When seefilmfirst showing runs out of tickets, they often add more later so it's worth keeping trying."
This means later the same day, the following day, the following week/month and all times in between !
NEW CODES YES - Old codes/reminders NOPE
(unless because of a specific mailing from seefilmfirst or similar actually promoting that tickets are still available - usually has a restricted cinema list from the original - I did one of these earlier today and included this reason in the post)

The CODES NO CHAT (and keeping it separate from this thread) is an attempt to keep it as short as possible so that it is EASY to look from the start to the end in only a minute or so and not miss a code amongst a "load of garbage".
Because it attempts to be CODES only and follow certain rules many members subscribe to it and opt for INSTANT EMAIL NOTIFICATION for any new posts being added to it, hopefully getting in first and successfully for new ticket offers. This does mean of course that a new post will cause MSE to send hundreds if not thousands of emails to these members. This is why they get so annoyed, each of them often getting tens of notifications daily and when they check each time, it is irrelevant natter or a repeat of a code/offer they already know about - ie NOT NEW !

    Hope this helps.

Sorry Quoia but I think it's good that someone does alert us that the code is working again because I tried the code for the Bank Job and it didn't work last week, so I would've given up if it wasn't for an update. So many thanks for people thats keeping us upto date.

No reliance should be placed on the above.

But nobody needs reminding if they've read and understood posts #1 & #2

    As posted
"When seefilmfirst showing runs out of tickets, they often add more later so it's worth keeping trying."

and as I say "This means later the same day, the following day, the following week/month and all times in between !"

Is there any point me making a post a week after a code has been listed on the thread to say that I've just tried it and got 2 tickets.
Unless you ALSO want tickets for Derby then it's meaningless if you live in Sheffield, London, Glasgow etc. etc etc.
I DON'T KNOW that any place OTHER THAN Derby "works" and has any tickets left. Indeed I don't even know that about Derby for the next person, I may just have taken the last 2.
Then again 2 hours/2 days/2weeks later, after my success, there may be some more tickets available at every other cinema EXCEPT Derby.

That makes "a code is working again" reminder all but pointless.

    Hi all,
Saw "The Bucket List" tonight. Brilliant! My first time at the Lowry, great cinema, pretty packed out. I liked the cool air blowing in, very nice. Parking is a bit steep £4, but I can't get there any other way. Printworks is usually about £4 too, Do any MSEs know how to get it any cheaper?

I went to see Bucket List last week at Lowry and didn't pay to park if you give in your ticket at any shop (on purchase) or the pictures they validate the ticket and you usually have enough time for the film before any charges start, I'm not sure how long you get free but when I left after the film it was still free.

By the way I do not any connection to Prada, but to beauty.

:A I just tried to describe something with a latin word and I got some exclamation signs, I guess it's because the same word is used for swearing in english. It was not my point, it is a latin expression. Nevermind! I hope you get to see the Prada ad.:A LOL

  • OK Beate, as you ask so nicely, I'd give it a 9 :). I guess it was my kind of film, it was funny and sad, great characters. Very enjoyable. Thanks AK43 for the parking tip, I'll definately do that next time. I wan't sure if they would do it for free tickets.
Was anyone else there last night? There must have been a few MSEs in that crowd
