    No codes :(
Methinks it'll stay this way til Mullhon apologises to Beate and signs an anti-arms agreement ;)

Our screening of Spiderwick last night was just over half full we thought it was because a lot of people must have gone to the screening the night before, mind you i hate it when the cinema is packed because you always end up with the rubbish seats.

And there are further screenings for tonight and tomorrow, so basically all week. There were loads of tickets left for tonight, so God knows how full the screenings will be - ours yesterday wasn't terribly overbooked either.

    For what it is worth:
    Spiderwick - 5 out of 10.
DS gave it 2 out of 10 - he said it was as bad as The Dark is Rising, which I think is grossly unfair. TDIR was dreadful - I would have given it a negative mark !!

Saw the trailer for Drillbit - which looks promising, so hopefully we will enjoy it enough to give it a better score.

Good, bad or indifferent, thanks again to everyone who continues to post codes and risks the wrath of others if they replicate a code, post on the wrong thread, layout their post in a way which causes offence, or even dares to spell a word incorrectly or uses bad grammar.:T :T
Personally, I am grateful for any chance of a free trip to the cinema
  • I saw TSC in Greenwich and found it quite a pleasant way to spend an hour and a half. Arrived there 5.40 thinking the movie would start at 6.00 but in fact, it only started at 6.45.
It's a movie that appeals to families with older children though an old banger like me enjoyed it too. I don't think it was suitable for the very young. The special effects are good; making the creatures look almost real. The cinema was only about 25% full. As to rating it; i would say a 7 out of 10.

still searching for the elusive codes...I came across this that may be of interest to Londoners. The Son of Rambow screening is £2 but there are other free workshops etc for anyone interested in film. It sounds quite good!! :j :T

I'm not sure if you have to be 'young' or it's just run by youngsters

i'm seeing tumbleweeds blowing across the codes forum - its been very quiet. hopefully a load of codes will come all at one time and we will be spoilt for choice again. i too thank all the people who put codes on whether duplicates or not - please don't be put off by moaning minnies. maybe thats why it is so quiet people have been scared off??

Totally agree with you - I think it was pretty scary in places so wouldn't recommend it for the under - 8s really. As an adult I enjoyed it but my daughter loved it - she's read some Spiderwick Chronicle books and really enjoyed seeing the characters on screen. As is was a kids film I'll let her rate it :D .

B gives the Spiderwick Chronicles 9/10

    Wow!!!!
