you are very lucky to managed a couple of tickets for your daughter and her friends and a couple for your friends. : )

I'm afraid I can't take credit for all the tickets!!!! (I feel greedy now!!) I got my daughter's as I was at work and have internet access and I know Kite Runner is her fave book ever ever ever, and the poor hard done by baby was stuck at nasty old college. But her friends and my friends sorted their own out!

But at least they all used all the tickets, unlike most, as they said the screening was almost empty. Again.

I have tickets for The Kite Runner next Thursday. Now the OH has read the synopsis and says it sounds strange. He made remarks like "I hope this is not going to be like The Darjeeling Limited" (he will never let me live that one down), so for people who have already seen it, can you please reassure him that the film is really rather good?

It is nothing like The Darjeeling Limited, it does have subtitles though if that sort of thing bothers you. Most of the story is set in Afghanistan. It takes a little while to get going but once it has you do get wrapped up in what happens. I hope that helps!
