Oh can I suggest people avoid 'the Secret' - I don't know if the tickets are real or not but its based in this stupid and weird thing, almost a cult, which says "You can get whatever you want just by thinking about it really really hard"
The book and "film" have been out for years now, so obviously these weird folk are wanting to spread their new religion
Sorry if I'm being offensive to anyone lol
I've missed whatever link was posted and whatever was found on the other end so can't comment on it directly, but is this the film under discussion ?????
Something to do with the "Law of Attraction" ?
Only "released" (as non-DVD) in Sept 07

There is a comment there ..... "Eye Opening, but has angered some people here on IMDb"
Just wondered what I'd missed !

Was at the Time out No country screening last night at Whiteleys lucky I managed to get a seat - it was a bit of a disaster! Around 50-60 extra people turned up- if not more. People were sitting down the aisle and in the back. Then I popped to go to the loo and there were another 50 people outside not being allowed into the cinema by security and management - why did they oversell tickets - or were people just photocopying their email tickets and passing them on to friends. I just dont know how an extra 100 people could turn up to the screening.
That is pretty bad!! I must admit, I prefer it when the screening doesn't have a printable ticket but you are put on the guest list.0 -
Hi, who went to see walk hard last night?? thought it was hilarious. would recommend it to all- some bits a bit naughty and some bits down right weird but loved it especially jack blacks awful liverpool accent!!!
Yes, I loved it too...especially trying to spot all the original/real events in singers lives ..e.g. Johnny Cash's brother cutting himself in half!!!! Also the music was good...wished the songs had been longer....0 -

I didn't take it personally, it is just information. The thing is... I might like it but if I am new or anything I might not be able to share my experience with anyone for fear of being attacted.
I think respect goes a bit beyond and yes we can all take a stand for what we like or what we don't, but it is always wise to clarify that it is "for me" "as far as I am concerned"
Personally I find that if we approach anything in this manner there is very little terrain for war and a big area for sharing as a community! Different and yet very very together.
Personally I didn't like "No country for old men" among others of their productions( I'm thinking Miller's Crossing), because of the cinisism of the Brothers Cohen BUT i willingly say that they are fantastic filmakers.
The good thing about all this is that WE CAN TALK!!! And that is priceless!
Much love. Thanks to those who help us to win !0 -
I find it a little strange that marialionza's post over on the tix thread was deleted but not other posts referring to it - let alone all the "are there tickets in Wales / Northern Ireland?" posts.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

Somebody who does not like goddesses...Hahaha!
(Maria Lionza is the mother goddess in my country, gods come after her in our mythology)

Ohhhh I missed the Secret screening, if anyone got a ticket and really don't want to see it could you please let me have it? I am really into The Law of Attraction (with a pinch of healthy scepticism - which according to them IS NOT GOOD, hey but that's me hehehehe). As far as I know there is nothing sinister in itself, it is about the power of positive thinking, but beware when some 'guru' starts asking you for money etc, that would be dodgy!
Thank you
CaterinaFinally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0
