Hi Beate, whilst the PREMIERE may have occurred (ie the red carpet event attend by the rich and famous) the film has a UK release date of 25 January 2008.
So, if there are any, the preview screenings (free or otherwise) are likely to be in the week before this.

i just came back from wimbledon and i am so glad i dint pay to watch no country for old men!!!. lots of silences mumbling and loads of shooting and blood. i (my bottom) started to fall asleep and so did dh who's into all that stuff. everybody groaned at the poor ending - sorry to put a downer but i'm sure some people will love it just not us. oh i do hope i get the tickets for sweeny todd

Anteena1, same here! A lot of the film was ok I suppose, and a bit of thrill (was already prepared to see the bloodshed, so no shock there) but what a pathetic ending! And DH who came with me said the same that you said, glad that we did not have to pay for it!

I quite liked it. The bad guy was A.W.E.S.O.M.E!!! Definitely the best thing about the film.0
