Can I just say, Wolverine, I think it is a fantastic idea to collect all the seefilmfirst codes and post them together in one post! Ideally that should be at the beginning of the thread and regularly updated so we could urge people to check there first.

I must have been incubating the flu when I chose the DVDs. And George Lucas spent millions on the Howard puppet, my goodness! _pale_

Have you got a fever Maria? :D
  • I think she's talking about Howard the Duck, the atrocious comic-book adaptation which was one of the biggest flops in movie history!
It would seem that she regrettably bought it!
lol don't worry maria, we forgive you!

lol thanks beate! Well perhaps if it was sanctioned by a mod it could go undeleted...
I'd be happy to update it regularly *hint to mods*

I got 2 DVDs on the post. I won them from Heart radio. One of the is Howard the Duck, which George Lucas produced paying zillions, now I applied for them and got them. Well, my point being I must have been crazy or incubatining the flu virus to bet for that particular one. It's terrible! I wanted to watch a film as I am housebound with nausea, headache and a slight temperature. But the film is worse than the illness. _pale__pale_

Just got back from The Bank Job...how rubbish was that film?! (well I'd loosely call it a film it was more TV drama) I was trying to think where it was better or worse than Death at a Funeral...I'm now thinking worse...my rating 3.5/10
It provided some interest spotting all the British actors from the Gold Blend coffee ad woman to the girl that was in the recent bbc adaptation of 'sense & sensibilty' and as it's based on a true story I suppose I've learnt a bit of history!!
On another note regarding the screening, I turned up at 6:25pm and it was only a small screen and about two thirds full. They showed adverts and trailers and after the third Renault clio ad in a row there really was no need for the 'the new renault clio sponsors this odeon screening' :rotfl:

my other ratings for the two other films I've seen are:

    Juno 6.5/10
    Dan In Real Life 8/10

That's a great one! My fave film of all times is Shakespeare in Love though. I could watch that again and again.
