usually depends what cinema I am at, but normally prefer to sit middle section about 3/4 of the way back. don't like being right at the back with the snoggers or to near the front as can never focus properly. My biggest annoyance is people who leave the odd seat, if people are already in a row, they will skip a seat and then sit down, so on and so forth what happens then is that later arrivals have to try and find seats to accomadate. I always sit next to someone and if the screening has space then move up rather than have some poor couple sitting either side of me & my brood because I wanted to skip a seat.

I must admit I do skip seats but usually two so it leaves a pair and also with sitting near the front there's usually loads of space so I might look a bit weird being on my own and then sitting right next to someone on an otherwise empty row!!

We always sit right at the back, last row in the middle. Always did, prefer it that way, wouldn't want it any other way, hate the front rows as I have to crick my neck to see upwards, and screens are usually big enough to see great from the back, even with subtitles.

So your a snogger then:rotfl: and Elski5 to skip 2 seats is good, Its when people skip 1 so noone else can make use of it. If you like sitting at the front then it usually doesn't get to busy there till last call.

Yeah, I remember one couple snogging all the way through Be Kind Rewind. Now, I didn't like the film much either, but what is the point in going to a cinema and then not even making an attempt to watch the film?

hubby and I took dd2 to see a film(can't remember which one but obviously child friendly) at bluewater, in the end we had to move as the sound effects from behind us were very graphic. Now I know its a free film, but by god theres a time & a place.

  • DD and I always sit at the front next to the isle ,no bobbing heads in front, a clear view,it's feels like it's only us in the cinema (an those beside us obviously)and I don't have to grit my teeth at others mis-behaving.
I also find people who are likely to mis-behave don't like sitting at the front:D

I sound like an old School mam don't I :o
