Ha ha well, as long as you went... I was only once really tempted to leave a film early and that was Darjeeling Limited. Gawd.

I'm getting disgusted how people are treating other users in the CODES thread. Little thought is going into what's being said and it really taints this Freebies board.

Have any of you taken the time to consider that some people are new and don't yet know the rules?

If the fact you get an email, excitedly telling you a new code has been added only to find out it's chat, is the problem.. why do you exasperate the damned problem by adding another chat post??

For pete's sake PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE just leave it there and the board guides will remove it. By all means tell them off via a private message (nicely - if you can summon the memory of being nice).

If you add another post telling them off your post is actually considered CHAT and is duly removed by the BGs. So how is your post any better placed to be there? So don't add it in the first place.

The sooner people understand they are unnecessarily contributing to the problem, and are fast becoming FAR MORE offensive than people slipping up, the better.

    Rant over!! (for now) :D

    Hear hear! :T

This is what happens when you list random films without knowing what there about, I did go through all the listings for march to see what might be worth a punt ' Love In The Time Of Cholera' did stand out as well- more for its interesting titles but overall not a great deal on offer for march. 'The EYE' staring jessica Alba should be out in April and could be bearable. Must admit have just had a quick look on line and spartans does look bad so I am removing it from my list- I'm sure the guy in it was an irish footie player in eastenders when arfur was still in it (probably last time I watched it:rotfl: ) Forgot to put a film called 'breach' in america I think it was called 11th hour- looks like it could be a possibilty. Or why not a really intellectual flick like hottie or nottie!

While we might have a few days without previews, and while some of us are waiting for their free 2 for 1 Vue cards courtesy of The Sun, this thread gives us a link to an instant free 2 for 1 Vue voucher, so is well worth mentioning here I think as it looks like the thread went a bit under on the Discounts board: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=8891841#post8891841

the Code Only Thread needs some spring cleaning.....!

there's so many The Other Boleyn Girl codes so i did the option 'search thread' (searched for the code number and no post came up)....did my post eventually then i thought, kinda weird that no one has posted the code already so i just did the search again with the code number then it couldn't find my post i just entered so i had to go through the whole 5 pages _pale_ just to be sure that it wasn't a repeat code or i'll be eaten like the bunny :EasterBun ! (sorry i had to put this emotion in somehow because it's funny and reminds me that i've eaten my £1 asda easter eggs last month lolz)

ANYWAYS noticed so many repeat posts and "no chat" blah blah :( yes i'm being moany today

ooh i was upset that Enchanted didn't win the music oscars thingy but what do i know about oscars :p

I agree. If some mod would remove duplicate and chat postings straight away we also wouldn't have so many follow-up chat postings. Searching the thread has never worked for me either, I usually comb the whole thread so it would be good if at least codes for screenings that are in the past could be taken out.

yeah it should have a few, I was also wondering why The Painted Veil didn't get any nominations and then I looked it up and it got a Golden Globe in 2007 so it must have taken ages for it to be shown in Britain :o
