    Hi,
I'm getting a little dishearten with the code situation for York or Castleford...the two cinemas nearest to me. Unfortunately the York Odean closed so we miss out on a lot of the posts....sigh
We love the cinema experience and the excitement of choosing films we probably would not have considered brightens up our week.

Just hope something comes up soon, its been nearly (I suggest you sit down here) 3 weeks!!

    Cross your fingers for me

Fingers crossed here for you  Plays havoc with the typing though :D

I think it seems safe to say that anyone registered with seefilmfirst got the charity screening email.

THIS POST IS NOT FOR FREE TICKETS. PLEASE DELETE AND PLACE IN A MORE SUITABLE FORUM

I cant believe people jump down peoples throats and can be so mean spirited even when its for breast cancer charity

    unbelievable:confused:
  • OMG!! :mad::mad::mad::wall:

I'm getting disgusted how people are treating other users in the CODES thread. Little thought is going into what's being said and it really taints this Freebies board.

Have any of you taken the time to consider that some people are new and don't yet know the rules?

If the fact you get an email, excitedly telling you a new code has been added only to find out it's chat, is the problem.. why do you exasperate the damned problem by adding another chat post??

For pete's sake PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE just leave it there and the board guides will remove it. By all means tell them off via a private message (nicely - if you can summon the memory of being nice).

If you add another post telling them off your post is actually considered CHAT and is duly removed by the BGs. So how is your post any better placed to be there? So don't add it in the first place.

The sooner people understand they are unnecessarily contributing to the problem, and are fast becoming FAR MORE offensive than people slipping up, the better.

    Rant over!! (for now) :D

  • Monsieur epargnant, I completely agree about the way people are treated on the codes thread.

Since I rejoined the codes thread after a long while away and started receiving alerts of angry messages in bold, flashing capital letters abusing newcomers for chatting, I have starting sending private messages to those newcomers who posted the chat on the codes forum, to let them know that not everyone is like that, but it's best to avoid angering the beast so to speak...

Don't know if this works, but at least I can distinguish myself from the people doing all the shouting.

ooh! just found an upcoming film I'd love to see a free preview of and if not I'll pay!!! :T

One of my favourite books, now if Gabriel Garcia Marquez ever allows a film of 'One hundred Years of Solitude' to be made, that would make an epic film.
