The nearest for me would be Southampton, but as I have to rely on public transport and not knowing where the ones in S'ton are - I probably wouldn't do it.

same as quoia, when it cost's less...
My nearest odeon is a short walk away so is completely free, the cineworld and vue are a tram ride away so I have those costs added. Sometimes it's cheaper to go to my local independent cinema (which I'm a member of) and pay £2 for a friday night 'first showing' than pay for a tram out to a 'free' preview screening.
  • Hey I'm in Southampton! I can help you out for directions and stuff!

  • Hi Guys

Saw the review on Rambo - not my sort of film so will not be going to see it. However, for all you fans out there get in quick. Some cinema chains will not be showing it because they say with the high number of killings and the critic reviews they feel it will not be profitable to show and would rather use their screens to show more commercially acceptable films. This could mean you may have to travel further afield to see it!!!!

I didn't see any codes for it so this is really just information for the fans of these series.

It's such a shame that you can't do the Odeon Greenwich, there are still tickets available with the new code! On the question how far I travel for previews: I work in Moorgate so virtually everywhere in the City is ok for me but I prefer the Vue or Odeon Greenwich as it might be a bit further to go from work but is then nearer to home. Cineworld West India Quay is the closest to me but they hardly ever have previews on. So, in time terms that is up to 40 minutes travel on the tube, and as I have an annual Oyster card anyway, travel costs don't really come into it for me.

I wasn't meaning to panic anyone and its fine if you live within easy reach of a selection of cinemas but I know of at least two family members that ONLY have an Odeon near them and they don't drive so its not easy to get elsewhere.

This information was only meant to give out what I feel may be important information to members not panic the masses!!!
