  • Yes i get really annoyed when i log on for free tickets and theres just a load of chat and then some wally saying don't chat and then so on and so on in the most enourmous writing, it's obvious you should keep chat to the discussion forum. I also get annoyed when people keep repeating the same old tired codes for films, you think oh i'm sure i saw that code 2 days ago and then you try it and the cinemas full anyway.

I'd say any films you manage to save the price of should count, and Rambo is new, isn't it?

Yes it most certainly is new! and I must admit I know its been poo-pooed but I loved it, back to the eighties with action-packed body part showing violent gore feast! loved the fact that we weren't expected to believe he could run round the jungle taking on an entire army on his own!!! for what it does and to forgive him rambo 3, I would give it 7/10, but all depends what you like.

Wolverine, I just wondered how many films you have seen as you don't have a count- it's good of you to keep all the scores noted.

Can I be nosey and ask how far you would travel to see a free film, my local Odeon is very often listed but if not the next nearest is 10 miles away.

Not sure I would go that far.

my nearest is a few miles away, but in Scotland, you tend to have to travel quite long distances for most things

I have been known to go 150 miles round trip to theatre (Edinburgh) and 180 round trip to see a band-SECC in Glasgow
  • In what cinema??
    Manchester Printworks sorry!

I have travelled to bluewater & greenwich from where I live which is approx 10-13 miles but in the car takes no time at all. It really depends how badly I want to see a film and availability in my local area. I have been in a screening with a fellow MSE'r who seem ed to see a film nearly everyday and was going to southend, cemtral london etc.upto 1hr at a time and I don't think I would do that but if your happy to travel then go for it.

When it costs LESS (including travel costs - bus fare, petrol etc.) than it does to buy 2 tickets on Orange Wednesdays at my nearest cinema, which equates to about £5.

    OTHERWISE WHAT'S THE POINT ???
