No, not in Scotland, I live in North West England...
I have seen these notices before and as far as I'm aware they don't have names on them. They just say for the previous owner to contact a particular company if they want any stuff out of the house and give 14 or 28 days notice for that.
For some reason I didn't feel like parking in front of my house, walking up the drive, and reading it...............:rolleyes:0 -
you had a drive?..
wait till after dark, or 4pm sunday morning...
if your house has a drive chances are no-one sees it anywayNow we all know how it felt to play in the band on the Titanic...0 -

I didn't stop to read ithowever, the one's I've seen before are a standard thing giving notice that if you want anything out of the house you contact a particular company.
My son drove past last night and he noticed they've put a new lock on the garage (I didn't see this, but locks are his line of work..) and he said the notice isn't 'noticeable' if someone was just going past...which is good news..

Not a bad idea
I could move the wheelie bin into a strategic place to block the notice...0 -
how far away do you live now, do you keep in touch with ex-neighbours, why worry?...
after all, your name went in the local papers, id say that was worse, plus the property will be up for sale or even auction as a repo soon...Now we all know how it felt to play in the band on the Titanic...0 -

Only about a mile away...
Name not been in paper yet
Have got over it now.....nothing I can do about it, so, like you say,. why worry?0 -
I'm sure the sign sticks out like a sore thumb to you because you know whats happened, neighbours wouldn't know to be looking for it.
