The problem is Lloyds have ended their relationship with Cineworld.  Like with Vitality they are only offering Vue - as before - or Odeon vouchers. So Cineworld have no interest in extending the vouchers.

Still six visits to the cinema is possible in 2 weeks!

I spoke to Club Lloyds today to ask about unused Cineworld tickets and was told they will be automatically extended and you should be notified in the next couple of weeks by email. I mentioned that I was under the impression that Cineworld was no longer trading but Steven assured me they were re-opening in May 2021.
I have 9 unused tickets.  I am reluctant to get more this year if I won't be able to use them. They do seem the best value if the rewards on offer.
    Watch this space!

Can you say why you were under the impression Cineworld were no longer trading ?
Its been a tough time yes but they are still here.

With restrictions easing, I thought to check up on these tickets. It looks like tickets expiring aren't getting extended significantly - (mine are dated May anyway.) I emailed them:

Thank you for contacting the Club Lloyds Lifestyle Benefits Helpdesk.

Unfortunately, we have received communication from Cineworld that they will not extend the cinema vouchers any further than the 31/05/21.

This is not the outcome we were looking for and we understand that this is not the outcome customers would like to hear also.

As we are no longer are in partnership with Cineworld this has made it harder to come to an agreement with Cineworld for any further extensions.

We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.

2 weeks to use what vouchers you have os easy.

1 a day or spread them over 2 weeks.

.....except when said cinemas are closed, with no plans to reopen before the end of May!

Having said that, I've opted for 12 Odeon this time & I'm not massively worried about losing my leftover 6 Cineworld tickets, I'd used the other 6 & an awful lot of young staff have probably lost their jobs. Bit of perspective required.

Our local Cineworld hasn't been giving any indication of re-opening but checking today I can see films starting on 19th, booked to go so 2 of my 6 tickets used (75p per person booking fee).  By coincidence a very friendly chap from Lloyds customer services just called & asked roughly how much a ticket would cost, I said £13 & he's paid £52 into my a/c to cover the remaining 4. I asked if I should just bin these 4 & he said no, they're not cancelled so if you can fit more Cineworld visits in before 31 May, use them!

When Lloyds Bank phoned me they advised me a Cineworld ticket was £5.99.  I got about £71.00 but that was for about 12 tickets. So you did very well indeed.

I told him I'd just used 2 & the price would have been £13 each, which is true, though I forgot the 'seniors' discount we qualify for if paying.  I even said I didn't expect Lloyds to reimburse me that much as this tight timescale deadline isn't their fault. He insisted on £52 but I feel properly bad now, he was correct when he said mine wouldn't even be cancelled, they aren't so I've booked a second film for this week & one for next week. All 6 used plus £52, I might look for a deserving charity.
