Overseas Debt Collection (China)

Hi,
Can anyone help with me with trying to retrieve an overseas debt that is owed or point me in the right direction of who might be able to help?
I have a debt that needs recovering in China where by I have a business and a residential address for this particular individual.
To date, I have gone down all the regular channels here in the UK, raising the payment as a (scam/fraud) case with my bank, econsumer.gov etc but unfortunately no luck.
My next option would be trying to recover this debt directly with someone in China or a company here in the UK who could liase with someone in China on my behalf preferably on a No Win No Fee claim.
I am also open to any other options of anyone has any?
Thanks

Think your chance of success is very small: even the Chinese Government isn't keen on paying it's debts.1

OP how much is the debt, did you pay on card and have you tried chargeback or section 75.
I wouldn't hold much hope in progressing this through the Chinese courts with any success.0 -
Plenty of no win no fees out there to choose from, fees will be a good proportion of the debt and worth clarifying if VAT or anything else is paid on top of the commission. Some debt collectors have a minimum fee/debt so obviously only worth considering if your debt is material rather than £500 or something small.0

Sounds very much like a B2B transaction.

So 2nd thread on same subject.
In reality I think that the OP would need to pay the address in China a visit to stand any chance of getting the funds back, sadly.Life in the slow lane0 -
Find a Chinese deby collector? Seems like a load of hassle. You might be best asking someone who does business in China if they have any contacts.0

There should be a better chance of redress in Hong Kong than the mainland as it is technically separate and retains a British type legal system. Wouldn't have thought the chances are high though, but you can try and engage a local law firm and they should be able to communicate in English.0

Is it HK? The post said China. In that case possibily but you've still got to use HK based people and that assumes he has any money to pay.0
