You mean "too much information that doesn't fit my preferences, preconceptions, and vested interests".7

If it’s the official claim then the claimants still don’t have to pay. Presumably the lawyers have insurance or it is being covered by litigation funders.AdrianC said:0 -
I doubt if it is insurance. Imagine the premium- the risk is approaching 100%Dr_Crypto said:If it’s the official claim then the claimants still don’t have to pay. Presumably the lawyers have insurance or it is being covered by litigation funders.

However, the opposing side does have the right to claim all their legal expenses and court costs from you. This means that if your claim for compensation is unsuccessful, not only will you not get any money but you could also be landed with an expensive legal bill. Some no win, no fee agreements only cover the solicitor's legal fees. Costs that might not be covered include medical expert fees, Barrister's fees or the costs of the other side's solicitors as they defend the claim. These costs can run into thousands of pounds. That's just the first two sites I found when searching for "no win no fee court costs".

a. I don't have a VW or Merc diesel and never have.
b. Even if I had, I wouldn't be signing up to this because I understand the reality of the issues, and how it simply doesn't apply to the UK.
c. Even if I had and didn't, I wouldn't have any losses to claim for.

As I said, u miss the point. 'too much information that doesn't fit my preferences, preconceptions, and vested interests" should have been pointed to yourself. Spouting miss information to try and justify their distorted opinion of what 'should' be happening.AdrianC said:

I remembered why I started avoiding this board. Too many people in here who have no interest in helping others and just have an axe to grind. I'll leave you to put the world to rights. I'm sure you will feel better about yourself.1
