Thanks Farway. Don't know where I was spirited to but it was dark and cold and silent and I didn't like it
I think Golden Sunrise is one of the ones I grew last year, they were so tasty and with a beautiful almost creamy sweet flavour. YumI removed the shell from my racing snail, but now it's more sluggish than ever.5 -
Well the lovely warm sun has gone and its back to 6c and cold winds.
Nice while it lasted.
Did see wild primroses on my trip but buds not broken on the plum yet so everything in waiting.
Many happy returns Pasthat way you'll be set for life in the garden.
I've grown Golden Sunrise too. Excellent fruit and makes wonderful soup, a bay leaf and pinch of ginger.
They used to be the garden centre option but no more. Haven't even seen seed down here.
To my amazement I have pot marigolds germanated. I slung planted them in a space by the door troughs because i was given them 4yrs ago and didn't expect anything. Looking a bit weedy but there's hope.
Lovely sunset. Nice to know they're still out there, we seem to have lost ours.I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!
viral kindness .....kindness is contageous pass it on

Something like this happened recently to me when out walking. I glanced into the valley and saw what I presumed was mist, rising from a large pond. "Look," I said, "the mist's rolling in already, and the sun's going down. We'd better head back to the car!"It was a farmer, burning the hedging he'd just cut.Sun out here, but sporadic, and apparently not long-lasting. Wind due to increase too, still in the wrong direction for my hedging pile.
Better than rain, though!

I'll try to sow a few when I'm sorting the tomato seedsDusty, that sheep of yours is what the Global warming warriors are complaining about, filling the countryside with noxious fumes & choking the Polar bears

Besides, the polar bear population has been pretty stable in recent decades, and it's about 5x higher than what it was when we were nippers.

It's a bit early for Rosemoor and valleys are still sopping wet. Hmmm.
