Thanks pp, I did the bread thing as soon as I'd (gingerly) brushed my teeth this morning. Are you at a decent height btw? Not at risk of flooding are you?I removed the shell from my racing snail, but now it's more sluggish than ever.4

Sorry you're having such a,rotten day Bluey.
You can borrow my new teeth if you like. I'm not using them
Deal with the stuff then treat yourself to a lie down with a book, good film and some tea and sof sponge cake.
Raining here for the foreseeable. Not too cold but got to get wet taking the car to the garage and getting it back. Not something to look forward to.I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

Good of you 2p, I'll just take a bottom row left back molar thank you please
When you do the car are you getting a pot for your apricot tree..?
I'm sat on the phone waiting on a person with a good handful of brain cells to pick up, or for me to be transferred to one... sigh. Old black+white films this aft with a good feed of tea and wee buns
Still raining, kinda breezy, mild though.I removed the shell from my racing snail, but now it's more sluggish than ever.6 -
Morning from a wet soggy northwest. You lot have not half been chatting I can’t keep up.
im reckoning this weekend is when @Farway gets his mystery tree, that’s exciting like Christmas again.
@YoungBlueEyes thanks for the binbag link I had a good laugh 😂 at that.
Yesterday was decent Ventusky was spot on, so washing out @ 8 am and back in at 2 dry! Just in time for the rain. I had been to dd2 and had a borrow of her snowdrops 😉 so I popped those in along with some daffs, YBE all mine are indoor ones planted out , they come up every year and as they are small they don’t lean over so much.
My bulbs in the conservatory are coming on and there’s flowers on the muscari, that will also go in the garden later.
I picked up a large terracotta pot that fell into 3 pieces so that’s two gone south this winter, I did want to limit the amount of pots so no biggie. I added a bit of blood fish bone to some of the soil, it should be well watered in now, possibly not the right time but picked up at home bargains and I forget to use it, so gave it a whirl whilst it’s fresh.

Wet as forecast, just soggy gloom, but I console myself because it is watering in the new DD apple tree that I forgot.Even wetter down Dusty land I believe. The sheep round-up sounds fun, perhaps next year video it & have the Benny Hill scantly ladies theme with it?YBE, hope you get car & teeth sorted, what a PIA. I am about to get my car insurance renewal, I suspect it will be awful because I've had e-mails telling me why insurance costs have increased etc. Trouble is, it's one of those things that has to be had, no opting out.twopenny said:I emerged with a small Apricot tree from the sale dept.
I've been warned against them, don't have the room but figured it's my dream and for £20 I'd give it a shot just to say I've had one.
Two people seeing it in my trolly said 'you're brave' - well yeah. Gotta have a dream.
Any tips? They had some nice pots at half priceI had one, the Tomcot type, after reading of folks just picking a warm fresh one. Ha, mine was of course the Olso Hybrid, and first sniff of peach leaf curl it turned into a dead twig. Very best of luck with your one though.wort said:Morning from a wet soggy northwest. Aw, shame bout the tooth, Bluey.
I've got a couple like that. A private Polish dentist with cosmetic specialism offered to fix them for me for an arsetronomical amount ten years ago, but then I switched to the NHS, where the attitude was, "If they aren't giving you pain or deteriorating, we'll just leave them!"
I think 2p's advice is better. As for the V5, well, you're in the Franz Kafka-loop now, so anything might happen. With luck, you might find you own a 20 tonne lorry or a Porsche by tea time.Alternatively, it could just be a kernackered electric Renault Zoe that no one wants, like someone I know. He's willing it to burst into flames, but the battery's too weak!
I digress.....frequently. There is no gardening here yet, just more wind and driven rain. Looking at the simulation, we're not getting as much wet stuff as some. It's actually quite bright right now, but things look grim in 2p's direction. If it doesn't stop after lunch, I may be forced to look at my seed stash.Oh and I don't agree about sheep being obstropulous, which is a word our NDN in the 80s used to use. Like children, if they're treated properly, they respond reasonably well. After all, they've good reason to be suspicious about our true motives! No new photos to post, but how about this one? Not a flower in sight, it was obtained when I was young and lithe by climbing inside a stand of trees in a botanic garden...."There is no such thing as a low-energy rich country." Dr Chris Martenson. Oh well re apricot. I realised I have a nice pot with only potted geraniums in it thats just the right size.
Nothings going to be potted today, swimming pool sized floods in the roads and everything soggy with perpetual rain.
So it's indoor jobs and maybe a good book with tea and cake as a reward

Dunno about the bay yBL, whacha think? Commiserations on the tooth too...Please ignore all evidence of something that will happen in the next round of tidying in the background...Good luck with the apricot, as things go though, better that than a weird mid life crisis purchase as above...I did like the idea of Benny Hil music playing softly in the background thoughNon me fac calcitrare tuum culi5
