We have some south African folk who have moved here. One couple plus sister are lovely.
It was she who kindly gave me the tail end of natural products that she uses and the most recent is surprisingly good.
Greenlipprd muscle. Gel. It seems to work for joints or muscles I don't know but have to be careful as I ran round feeling better and when it wore off I'd got sore. Not a suggestion or medical advice. Just kindness and observation.

Had some rain this morning, barely got wet but the grass has a slightly green tinge in places. People running around in macs and brollies which was a slight overreaction to a bit of drizzle 😁
Suns out now and so are people with power tools. I could do with more rain just for peace!

I'm another who has the kitchen blinds closed because it's depressing looking at the garden.
So trying to catch up on some sleep as idiot next door has been doing the 5 o'clock thing for 8 days out of 10 and I'm cream crackers.
Watching some of Monty and his gardening travels and out photographing this afternoon. Chores can wait 🙂

I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

viral kindness .....kindness is contageous pass it on

The only normal people you know are the ones you don’t know very well

I think he had to revamp it in later years, some outgrew the rest or failed to do as intended

    I have a Hell garden  >:)

Eight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens

Hmmm... I could get a similar effect from Scottish Elixir, and it used to make me dance well, but the wearing-off was more in the head than the legs.  :*
Sorry, I raised your hopes about the rain.  :(  It really did look like we were all going to get something substantial down here, but I should have remembered, it was only a projection. Perhaps a Mr Ferguson had a hand in it?  ;)

I'd not go that far, but there are a few areas I'd prefer not to go unaccompanied. I need someone to say, “It's not too bad. You could probably sort that out in an afternoon.” Of course, that afternoon never comes!  :(
Take today; paperwork nonsense this morning while we waited for the rain.  :# After lunch, everything's parched, so an hour of watering stuff. Then Mrs Dusty reminded me about the thistles in the top field, so it was 'hunt the thistle'..... 2 hours of slow-motion walking and zapping, but there's little to show for it. :| At best, the grass will continue growing, and the thistles will wilt and disappear....until spring.  :/
The good news is that DD2's rooms were ready for carpet, so they and their visitors arrived here around 16.00 for showers. :) The bathroom plumbing is still some way off, but they have a cloakroom, so the basics are covered.
I saw a Common Blue while thistling, but no camera. :s They're not very 'common' here. I also spotted a Small Copper in the polytunnel last week, but the same situation applied. The Copper likes sorrel, and we've several of those in there for sandwich 'greens.'
I've looked, but the photo of our pears hasn't made it into the MSE folder yet. :*  Here, instead, is another fruit ripening now, but I don't think we'll be making our own cough medicine this year.

I bet that leather seating is fun in this hot weather ,would have to be parked in the shade for comfort ,the car itself looks good .
