Gorgeous little shed!
I want one.
Our poppies must have run off together Bluey. 2 packs and collected seeds.
Yet the purple ones that last house daughter planted 50yrs ago arrived with me in soil and flourish 😬
Less I read about a Welsh cottage having that many moons ago. Water ran down the hill and into the kitchen so they made a drain under the houseI can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

Maybe I lost another post.
I'm having trouble keeping up.
Very nice of you to link me with the operation of Karma, but in my way of thinking it's shorthand for, “Uncaring or unthinking people tend to do daft things and hurt themselves.” I don't believe divine intervention on a microscale is 'normal,' though a few events appear to have stepped slightly outside the realms of normality, so I'd not rule it out completely. However, praying that the guy next door suddenly acquires a huge measure of consideration for others, is probably pushing it!
And on peonies again, I have just discovered one left behind by some friendly neighbours when they moved away, is not the vulgar, cerise thing I imagined when almost binning it. Though starved, it's lovely, and I'll try to get a photo later.YoungBlueEyes said:Fingers crossed either shoes+insoles or different shoes work for you pp
Taff Office Micro Manager woman has plantar fasciitis (we think it's half the reason she's so sour) so I'll tell her about FitFlops in case she doesn't know.
I do remember your similar story Dusty, heart-breaking indeed. I was debating whether to do my post but I did, because plenty of people know about the marriage part but no-one mentions the divorce/will part. Not even Martin Lewis. I don't understand that cos they're equally important imo although I am not a lawyer etc.
OT raining and breezy and cool. Who mentioned about the killer wall of fatal storms and rain that's due to hit the whole country? Well there was a Breaking News Flash thing on my puter yesterday and I clicked it without thinking (I'll get a b0ll0cking for that, grrrr) because it said they knew the exact date and time that the monster fatal killer storm would hit and how much we'd get. Just to save anyone else clicking such nonsense the answer is "Saturday" and "maybe up to approx 2mm per hour".
It wasn't raining when I got up so I took a pic of the Happy Grandad Shed next door. #ThisIsWhatYouGetWhenYouLeaveStuffBe
And a pic of my Heavenly Blue wosname that I bought 3 of, but the other two have curled up their toes, only this one is giving it a go.Don't worry about posting that story, Bluey. The situation I told you about wouldn't have happened if people had acted in a timely way, and with common decency. When money's involved, the latter can disappear at the speed of evil.It was me who posted about that killer wall of weatherdoom the MSM predicted for last Saturday, complete with pictures of frost on grass, and even one of snow. On one level it's funny, but on another, it's typical of the very real wall of doom-laden nonsense people are bombarded with every day. I doubt the hacks who churn out this garbage know why, but it's not accidental. I've not done a proper survey, but the most used buzzword seems to be 'warning' ....looking randomly at one page of guff just now, I found it in 5 seconds!Loving your Monet style shed next door with its over the top roses and floating in an ox-eye daisy sea. Best of all though, is your appropriately named 'Heavenly Blue,' proving there really is life after Morries plant centre!OT: Raining here just now, not in a wall or a downpour, and due to clear later, so we have a moderately warm day with a fresh breeze. Before Farway beats me to it, a picture of my 'Lakemont' that might not be...And I said I'd have toms in June this year. Not ready yet, but there are still 25 days to go!"There is no such thing as a low-energy rich country." Dr Chris Martenson. Peak Prosperity6 -
It's been chucking it down here, the garden needed it, and saved a job watering the new sown seeds, so not complaining.Well, one complaint, no sign of grapes on my Lakemont
, so first spot of grapes prize to Dusty this year, clap hands
And, while I'm at it, my Cherry Falls will be renamed Cherry Fails. It's a weak, scrawny disaster.twopenny said:Farway sorry about the fairway. Tablet changes it without my cooperation.
If you want pot marigold seeds I'm happy to send some. Mine came from a friend and were stored for 3yrs and still came good.
Things gone from ropey to lots ropier with a health issue so may not be posting much for a while but I will be reading 🙂Thanks for seed offer, but I'm hoping to have my own this year, yeh, right.Plus I can get offer pack with free P & P for 69p if I time it rightHope health improves, or at least steadiesYBE, love the Grandad shed, was it an air raid shelter, with the concrete roof?Just leaving it alone, and those lovely daisies. I've planted one from Morries in Dog Poo border, and it's just budding up.The ones I planted on DS's Boot Hill a few years back, are still exceeding themselves, neglect seems to be the secret of Shasta successIf I had a drain running under the house, it would have to be rubber ducks with hooks in them, like at fairgrounds. Hook a duck, check number, win a bit of tat and take tat home for Mum.If rain eases I'll check my strawberries, otherwise that's it for the dayEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens7 -
Well I was going to get all gardeny today but it's bucketing down now. It did ease off enough for me to go and get a load of clean wood for chopping up for kindling. That's still sitting in the boot awaiting unloading and cutting down and hatcheting...I might go and do some shopping instead - rum and spray paint sounds like a plan..2p, sorry about your health stuff, it's a bummer. Glad you got to slam some doors first though.Farway I shouldn't but I did laugh at Cherry Fails. If only some of my plants had a name you could change so easily but ceonothus is a bit difficult to change to JustDidntWantToLive....ybe, how awful for her, I think I'd be sneaking stuff out if I was her. ot that it would make much difference unless she had a penchant for gold. I am definitely getting one of those signs. Although Dustys is coming a close second. If I had more land, definitely the latter. PF is so bloody painful, for me it was like walking on razor blades, no wonder she's sour if it's like that for her. Cute shed, not sure I'd like one though, it's be dark but very secure...Love the roses though and the daisies, I wouldn't mind a patch of each. Fingers crossed heavenly blue lives. That's a clever under the house stream solution!Ah well, I'm orf to potter now...Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi6

I think I was thinking of something like the former, rather than the latter - but I probably shouldn't, even on behalf of someone else, otherwise can hardly complain if karma comes back to bite me...Hmm, I seem to have got stuck inside a quote, shouldn't attempt philosophy at this time of night (or probably any other time...).
OT we had repeated walls of torrential rain today, tho none as bad as the lakeforming one of the other morning... Felt unexpectedly warm, though, maybe because I'd resorted to thermals again... Will stick to photos not philosophy, but tomorrow, too late for former even now...4 -
That was very odd, tried to post last comment, red warning at top saying body was 9 characters too short (rather personal I thought
)... But I had also been released from the quote, typed more than nine characters, and post successful (if not very coherent...)

Will stick to photos not philosophy, but tomorrow, too late for former even now...I sometimes get confused by the quoting thing and find I've typed inside the wrong box. I've never liked this Vanilla framework much, but needs must and all that.Unexpected warmness wasn't what we felt last night when packing up around 19.00, but working inside the polytunnel most of the afternoon probably altered our perceptions. We managed to build the framework we use for training the tomatoes, so now it's just a case of Mrs Dusty choosing the best and planting them. Hurrah! We had one sharp shower yesterday pm, not the downpours you and taff had. Our rain came overnight, and judging by the puddles, it was a decent amount. On streams under houses, I recall one Welsh property we visited which looked attractive in the details, facing south at the base of a wooded slope. In common with many unoccupied rural properties, the agent just handed us the keys and asked for them to be put through their letterbox if we returned outside opening hours. We weren't that long! The water issuing from under the front door turned out to be a spring, which had somehow still broken through the floor of the re-vamped kitchen....and wrecked it.I like water features, but outdoors, not in.

I've got tomatoes growing too, Dusty, looking a similar size. Mine were gifted by lovely neighbour a few weeks ago - not sure what they are, but I know Gardener's Delight was mentioned in the conversation. I've had to tie them up because they were all over the place, growing outwards rather than upwards.
I wondered if YBE's shed was an air raid shelter, Farway. A bit big to be a coal bunker and odd to have a concrete roof on a shed.
Silly weather has caught me out this morning - supposed to rain, but dry since before 6am. I decided to put some washing in, only for the rain to start 10 minutes later. It's still quite heavy now, but I can see the view appearing in the distance, so fingers crossed...

It's been hammering down, but sun is out now and mixed forecast. If it keeps dry, I'll get out & check my cherries under the fleece. The weather suits my courgettes, both now have flowers ready to openGetting very tempted to pick some more rhubarb, the rain has provided lots more stalksTomatoes are rubbish so far, a few flowers on spindly plants, I blame the compostWhile I was handing my repeat prescription this morning some salvia Hot Lips twigs became detached, so I've brought them home for tidinessEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens6

Hotlips runs riot here Farway but it's beautiful and keeps the weeds down for sure 😊
Bit of rain overnight but only 9c this morning (in June 🫤) so there's unlikely to be thunder storms.
Just chilly and dank, bit grey so not tempting to go in the garden.
Forecast says it's going to brighten up this morning.
Met office satellite map reckoned there was massive rain last evening over us but dry as a bone.
Wonder if Dusty got it?
I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!
