Hi everyone,
Got my second "bad" card today: Aqua with a credit limit of £250.
Just wanted to hear about other people's experiences with Aqua.
I would really appreciate if you can answer the following questions.

- What was your first limit?
- What was your first increase and how long did it take?
- How do you use your Aqua card, i.e, spending habits?

First limit was £500.
Used it for the odd trip to the supermarket each month. Didn't pay it off in full each month, but made more than the minimum payment. Got my first increase about 9ish months and they put it up to £1200 but that was as far as it went.1 -
OP, I'm curious as to why you want to know about other people's limits. But the "rules" for spending habits on any card are the same:1. Use it for everyday spending, things you'd be buying anyway (groceries, food, petrol, commuting costs etc.)2. Only spend what you can afford to pay back, don't look upon it as "free" cash3. Alway pay the statement in full when it arrives, before the "payment due" date, every month without fail.Doing this will mean you never pay any interest, and you'll begin to build up a favourable credit history should you every want more credit in the future - whether this be a "better" credit card, mortgage, whatever.1

Limits and increases are entirely circumstantial0

1. £300 - this was my second card (first card was only 5 months old)
2. The card was increased at month 3(1300),8 (2050),14 (3550), 20 (5550)
3. I used it as my main card . But since February I have only used it at places that don't accept Amex

Not sure of initial limits
both aqua cards now approx 2.7+2.85k.
1st increases <1 year maybe 10 months later increases a year out two later.
Both were used from home online home essentials+maybe an inexpensive laptop/console.
1st is now FCA persistent debt rules =from 57pounds per month-I'm paying 85 to clear 2 years approx.
2nd is nice and <50% limit-not sure if its 90ish monthly-plan to clear 2years approx.
Aqua repayment calculator is simple and amazingly motivational-play with DD a month view estimated zero balance dates.
Neither are added to iphone wallet-debit card only for Contactless groceries+petrol.
thanks!Replenished CRA Reports.2020 Nissan Leaf 128-149 miles top charge. Savings depleted. VM Stream tv M250 Volted to M350 then M500 since returned to 1gb1 -
I got the card in January this year to replace my Tandem card (this is when Aqua still offered the cashback card).
I was given £1,200 limit to start with, this went up in May to £1,500 and then in September to £2,500.
I put anywhere between £0 and £3000 through the card each month.
It's still my lowest limit however - highest being with Amex (£49,700).1 -
When I used it for all my daily spending it started at £500 then every 3 months they kept increasing it, £500 -> £900 -> £1800 -> £3200 -> £4000 . Then I stopped using it as I managed to get better cards once my defaults from 2012 had dropped off and they reduced my limit down to £2100. Still got it and use it for the odd transaction to keep the green 0's on my credit file.2

Started at £1200, now 9 months later it is £1950.
I use it as my secondary card to use where Amex isn't accepted. Usually spend around £200pm, paid in full.1 -
Started in 2019 at £450 then after 6 months £1700 where it's been ever since, going into the browser and asking for an increase gets me a refusal
It's a NewDay card though - and I also have the Amazon platinum card which I started around 9 months ago, and that's already up to £2250. I use both often, and always pay in full by direct debit.
