If you aren't,never have and never will receive any of the FIT payments does it matter whomever else is?.
I wouldn't be signing anything tbh. What will they do remove the panels?.0 -
Removing the panels would cost the leaseholder more than the value of the FIT's over decades. It would be pointless. No free lunch, and no free laptop1

It doesn't really matter who is getting the FIT payments, however the maintenance and insurance of the panels is supposed to be covered by whoever own the FIT payments. As far as I can find out.
Whats in your agreement regarding such things?.
Are you looking at this from a having being mis-sold perspective by any chance?.1 -

If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -

You were never going to benefit from the FIT's, so why does it matter to you who does? You are no part of the fraudulent application.
No one can ever legally claim the FIT's, because to do so requires the generation meter to be read quarterly and validated, which cannot be done without your permission and grant of access.
Whoever owns it, you continue to benefit from the generation that you can use. This will continue until the inverter fails, which could be a decade away yet.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Garpat32 said:That's the thing, as it now turns out I haven't actually bought anything, there's no sale been made. the panels, inverter etc were installed and there's nothing covering the actual cost of them. So I'm thinking we are going to end up with a massive bill, but also, is this 3rd party company getting the FIT payments fraudulently.
It is a bit of a worry, especially the way things are at the moment.
You get the benefit of reduced electricity bills for the rental of your roof, continue to do that and dont worry about it.Out of curiosity how much do the panels reduce your bills by roughly?.0
