If you aren't,never have and never will receive any of the FIT payments does it matter whomever else is?.
I wouldn't be signing anything tbh. What will they do remove the panels?.

Removing the panels would cost the leaseholder more than the value of the FIT's over decades. It would be pointless.

They cannot transfer it if they don't already own it.
Well they've fiddled the paperwork in the past, and have been claiming the FIT since 2015.
So I'm guessing it can be passed round without my agreement?

It doesn't really matter who is getting the FIT payments, however the maintenance and insurance of the panels is supposed to be covered by whoever own the FIT payments. As far as I can find out.

Solar PV panels are effectively maintenance free.

You wont be any worse off as I understand it,so creating a problem where theres no need imho.
Whats in your agreement regarding such things?.
Are you looking at this from a having being mis-sold perspective by any chance?.

Solar panels may be maintenance free (though a wash from time to time may help the performance).  The inverters are another matter.  An inverter is unlikely to last for the life of the panels.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.

That's the thing, as it now turns out I haven't actually bought anything, there's no sale been made. the panels, inverter etc were installed and there's nothing covering the actual cost of them. So I'm thinking we are going to end up with a massive bill, but also, is this 3rd party company getting the FIT payments fraudulently.
It is a bit of a worry, especially the way things are at the moment.

You were never going to benefit from the FIT's, so why does it matter to you who does? You are no part of the fraudulent application.
No one can ever legally claim the FIT's, because to do so requires the generation meter to be read quarterly and validated, which cannot be done without your permission and grant of access.
Whoever owns it, you continue to benefit from the generation that you can use. This will continue until the inverter fails, which could be a decade away yet.

Think I've got the jist of it,the FIT payments pay for the panels etc, whoever gets this is not your problem in effect, fraudulent or otherwise and not in any way your responsibility. You cant be billed/charged for something that you haven't bought.
You get the benefit of reduced electricity bills for the rental of your roof, continue to do that and dont worry about it.Out of curiosity how much do the panels reduce your bills by roughly?.
