2 fines in a day

Just been away in Portrush (N Ireland) and they seem to have put in a few pay and display machines in that I never knew were there. Any way I went for a walk along the beach and came back to the yellow package on my window, £90 down to £45 if paid between 14 days. About 6 hours later went for a meal and same thing, didn't know there was pay and display so got scooped again (not by the same person). Talk about a bad day. However on reading the tickets they aren't from the red coats or police but from CPS - I got a ticket before by this lot and completely ignored it, got the normal few letters then the 3 years later letter so I'm good with that one. Asking should I just do the same with these two and completely ignore. I did notice beside the CPS logo there was a Causeway coast and glens council logo, not sure if that makes and difference. Thanks in advance.

What name appears on the tickets attached to your windscreen?  They will surely have been issued by 'CPS' Is there an address shown for them?

    Notice number
Date, time, reg number and make of car
    Location
    Traffic attendant I'd
Reason for ticket - no ticket displayed.

After this it's the cost, then how to pay either by internet or post. Payable to car park services, 36 Patrick Street Belfast
Then just says if not paid a notice to owner (nto) request will be served by CPS.

Then just concludes about appeal to http://carpark services.zatappeal.com

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP, sometimes it can lead to cancellation.,

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, and darfts have beenopened for publc consulatation,

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these companies, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, under new legislation but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

As it's NI, just ignore them. There is no keeper liability legislation in NI, and as they don't know the driver's identity (unless you tell them), they've nowhere to go. They might try debt collector letters, but they too are ignorable - please read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, fourth post, all about debt collectors.

Yep, in NI you ignore private parking charges.    As long as this isn't a PENALTY CHARGE.

You are lucky; in NI, no-one has been daft enough to grant this rogue industry the power to hold a keeper liable and sue them.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The  FIRST photo looks like a real penalty notice.
