Just one extra point here. I'm sure I switched to dual fuel because it was originally advised here on MSE??
Apologies if I'm wrong
TIA

There was a time when dual fuel deals were the way to go. After all, it would seem only logical that if you're buying two things from a supplier, a discount should be on the cards. Perhaps the suppliers have got wise to consumers' dual fuel inertia and have therefore resorted to treating it as a cash cow.Until the recent price rises, OutFox The Market had such stupid pricing that for some London postcodes (maybe elsewhere too, I didn't check!) it was cheaper to sign up for two separate supplies than their dual fuel deal. That really was a case of sticking two fingers up at their dual fuel customers.I find it sad that comparison sites don't automatically advise users whether separate supplies is a cheaper option. Hmmm, maybe that's because the cheapest single fuel suppliers don't bung them any cash??2
