    with my usage costs £904.90
Cheapest on Uswitch with same usage is Shell Energy with a cost of £968.86.
Someone clearly doesn't know how to use comparison sites !  Unless you live on Rockall?
In my area you wouldn't have to pay more than £819.57. httpsimages6moneysavingexpertcomimagesforum_smiliessport-smiley-001gif
Hint: start with Citizens Advice and 'Switch with Which?' and use separate suppliers.
Not all areas have the same tariffs

Hence the references to 'Rockall' and 'my area'...

The Which comparison site didn't come up with anything cheaper than my present tariff and Neon Reef and Zog weren't mentioned.

Thanks for the update. Those prices look rather high (depending on area) You should be able to save around 20-25% off both those quoted rates I’d hope.

Did you search "Gas only" and then "Electricity only" using the "All tariffs" setting?

Thanks. The area is Oxfordshire. This deal is not much less than the best offered on Cheap Energy Club main providers' quotes.

The deal before last I went with OVO but they took months to repay an overpayment however
OVO via Cheap Energy Club are currently offering Electricity:
    SupplierOVO Energy
Tariff nameBetter Energy 02 September 2020
    Tariff typeFixed
    Payment Method Monthly Direct Debit
    Unit rate 15.383p per kWh
Gas 21.914p per day  Standing Charge

    Unit rate 2.940p per kWh
    Standing charge 24.770p per day
    Total £1,391 pa

The new direct BG offer for same use is £1,317.
The best Big Name CEC offer for me today is SSE at £1,312 pa for same use (Eon slightly cheaper but needs smart meter)

    TIA

    You're doing everything wrong.
    • If you restrict your suppliers to Big Names, you'll pay Big Prices.
    • If you rely on the CEC, you won't see all suppliers.
    • If you choose Dual Fuel, you'll probably pay more than with separate suppliers.
Hint: start with Citizens Advice and 'Switch with Which?'.

Neon Reef - electricity 3451kWh  £453.83,  Zog - gas 19883kWh £568.61, Total £1022.44. A saving worth doing something about, surely?
