No dogs allowed outside at Wetherspoons

We encountered this at a Wetherspoon's, they were very apologetic but explained there had been an incident where a dog had bitten a child at one of their pubs hence the blanket ban on dogs inside or out.Been around since 2008 but somehow my profile was deleted!!!1

Amazing that dog owners feel that everyone else has to suffer because they wish to bring their dog to the pub. Even assuming it is a peace loving dog the endless slobbering from the flatulent beasts is not something to make the pub experience a good one whether inside or out. Pedigree dogs, of course, would visit a pub other than a Wetherspoons one anyway.1

I wouldn't go to a Wetherspoon's anyway as they are awful places. My locals is great, dogs are more than welcome and children are discouraged. So nice to have a peaceful meal and drink without screaming brats running about :-)

My Weatherspoons allows all sorts of dogs inside, they don't have to be on a lead either.2

Replace 'dog' with 'children' and it still makes senseDeleted_User said:

I don't care about your first world problems; I have enough of my own!2 -
Must be a new rule as there are plenty of dogs and foxes in our local Wetherspoons. Apparently the difference between a dog and a fox is about six pints2

JD Wetherspoon's policy to refuse to serve disabled customers who do not have photo ID for their assistance dogs could be breaking the law, the equality watchdog has said.
