I'd ask them for photographic proof of the driver leaving the site. Leaving the car does not equate to leaving the site. Ask to see contemporaneous notes written by their parking weasel.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I am one of the few people here who will always always appeal a "left site" ticket immediately
care parking will decline it first appeal, (always) and they are always won at POPLA
UKPC always cancel left site tickets when challenged
these cases i can win with eyes closed, they dont need any faff, a couple of lines for both appeals, its so simple, it doesnt need lots of replies and it frustrates that there is a bit of dogmatic approach to tickets sometimes
OK brown trout. I will do as you say and appeal immediately to ukpc. I feel more comfortable doing something than waiting another 2 weeks. Do you have somewhere I can go to get the wording right? Or do you need any more info from me?
Do this appeal, nothing else dont bother with any other rubbish it isnt needed honestly
"this is an appeal by the driver - The driver did not leave site and this will be won at popla on that basis that you have no evidence of who the driver was", you will be aware of the many times you have lost POPLA appeals on driver left site issues where this denied. So called notes from the attendant will not win the case for you.  Please cancel or provide a popla code.
    End

I agree with @BrownTrout - just send the appeal now and admit to driving (yes) to stop ANY NTK going to the lease firm.  If you appeal as hirer/lessee to this one then UKPC will probably send out a NTK anyway...

Deny leaving the site, attach any proof that you used the site facilities, and ask for UKPC's proof.  They have none so they will cancel.  Easy.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Am about to do this now. The ukpc site is asking for a lot of personal information.

Name, address, email, phone number etc. Is it safe to give them that info?

Obviously not a phone number.  Of course they need your name and address!

Just being cautious.Don't like sharing info unnecessarily. Can end up in all sorts of lists...

Should I include evidence of shopping receipts from the site or not bother?

Do it around day 25 following the windscreen PCN , appealing as a lessee , because you do not want them checking the DVLA database and issuing an NTK to the RK
Hi. Thanks for your help, in the stickee the advice seems to be this,

In the case of a company car or hire car, if you get a windscreen ticket and cannot get it cancelled by the landowner (PLAN A above), appeal within the first 2 weeks, well before day 21. This is in order to hook the PPC in your direction, before they get a chance to get the keeper's details from the DVLA.

With this being a company car should I not be appealing now? Why is your advice to wait till day 25?

    Thanks again.

personally I dont care if its day 21 or not , as long as its not day 28 or later , so day 21 or now is fine by me , I did explain what I did not want to happen and that was UKPC applying to the dvla for RK details after day 28 , that was the important part to take away from this

as browntrout and coupon mad and others have indicated , you are appealing this to achieve what I said earlier , a pcn in your name , a popla code , a win at popla due to lack of concrete evidence of boundaries and identification and as umkomaas says , a lack of contemporaneous notes by the observer

the edna basher templates are the usual source if you really want a template (people are obsessed with templates)

its not a sprint race, its a hurdle race so jump each one in turn

Yes, like I said, prove you were a patron and deny leaving the site.  Tick 'driver' in your case to PREVENT any NTK being sent.

Have done so. Got an email confirmation back from ukpc saying its on hold while under appeal. Used brown trouts message practically verbatim. Hopefully hear back soon.

    Thanks to all.
