Just replaced drive shaft on my 325 MSport and noticed this cut in the tyre tread which looks like a stone has gone into it. The tyres on this are 255/30/19 run flats so are expensive to replace. Opinions sought from you all as to whether you would replace the tyre or leave as is for a while?

Tyres are one (four?) thing that you shouldn't cheap out on IMO. I agree with the other suggestions to get these replaced as soon as practical.0

How old is the tyre?0

Does it make a big difference, given that it's bald?knightstyle said:How old is the tyre?1 -
This was mine from earlier MOT fail:

Fortunately they got the cost wrong when quoting me for a new one so a bit cheaper in the end and only charged £39 for the MOT, including the retest, so not too bad for a BMW main dealer.0 -
OP.....did you really need to ask about changing or keep for longer.........GET IT CHANGED ASAP0

This guy will have to fork out for a new tyre, but is there a subliminal message here?
